THE CITY OF MONTE CARLO

Monte Carlo is one of the Principality of Monaco's administrative areas. The official capital is the city of Monaco. Monte Carlo is the most densely populated residential area in Monaco. It currently has about 3000 permanent residents. Monte Carlo enjoys a spectacular setting as part of Monaco that clings spectacularly to the rocky shores of the Mediterranean. It is surrounded by France and close to Italy.
